Harm/Shelter & TORCH IT
After the first two digital releases by BADBRAIN RECORDS, Banished By Life (Harm/Shelter) and Tainted Souls (TORCH IT), Giessen’s finest return in 2024 with their split EP, Grey City Tales. When the idea of a joint release first surfaced several years ago, it became clear that the time had finally come! With BADBRAIN RECORDS, a 100% DIY label run by members of both bands, it was the perfect platform to finally release these four tracks on vinyl. And what better way to celebrate than with old and new friends at the legendary MuK in Giessen, a venue that has been our home for over 10 years. We’re thrilled to bring some great bands back to this special place!
Peace Of Mind
Peace Of Mind is a 4-piece hardcore band from Mideast Germany. Since their formation in 2015, the band has been an absolute workhorse, playing almost 300 concerts both in Europe and beyond in just under 10 years. They have released three EPs and one album and toured with scene giants such as Terror and Speed in 2024.
Slow Burn
Slow Burn is a hardcore band from Jena and Erfurt, influenced by the sound of bands like Soul Search and Bad Seed. In 2023, they released their demo through Side2Side Records and quickly gained attention in the hardcore scene. Their music combines raw intensity with dark, aggressive energy, reflecting the spirit of the early 2010s.
Blossom Decay
Blossom Decay is coming to you from Dresden, with a fierce mix of hardcore, metal, and melodic hardcore elements. They released their latest EP, Sorrow Falls, in May 2024 and are bringing these new songs to Giessen for the first time. It’s the best reason to show up early!
